Firm History
Ron began practicing law in 1986. However, in 1994, he heard the clarion call to leave the more traditional law firm environment and start his own firm, ala The Field of Dreams: “if you build it they will come.” While he had spent about 8 years with two good firms in San Diego (Law Offices of Richard Corona and Lindley, Lazar and Scales) learning the “practice” of law (i.e., how to be a lawyer), he needed to learn more about the “business” of law (i.e., growing and defining a law practice, networking, obtaining and retaining clients, hiring and training employees, etc.)
Firm History
Ron began practicing law in 1986. However, in 1994, he heard the clarion call to leave the more traditional law firm environment and start his own firm, ala The Field of Dreams: “if you build it they will come.” While he had spent about 8 years with two good firms in San Diego (Law Offices of Richard Corona and Lindley, Lazar and Scales) learning the “practice” of law (i.e., how to be a lawyer), he needed to learn more about the “business” of law (i.e., growing and defining a law practice, networking, obtaining and retaining clients, hiring and training employees, etc.) In 1994, he started pursuing the American dream, being an entrepreneur, a business owner and not just an employee. In time, Ron hired other lawyers and staff and the firm started growing. Through the years and the growth, the firm has always been committed to melding the best of the traditional firm (structure, procedure and tradition) with the small firm (flexibility, personalized service and affordable prices).
